The larger sized version of the Whitefriars Glass #9517 four cornered bowl, in Cased Blue colour.
Apx 6 1/2" wide from corner to corner. 7cm tall. Circa 1960s, it was in the 1966 catalogue: https://whitefriars-glass.com/whitefriars-cat-1966.php It's classed as 'cased blue' - the blue is a dark turquoisey royal blue tone. Cased in clear glass, with a clear round foot. Average condition for 50 years old - there's fine marks/scratches/dots, the worst area is shown on the last photo. One bubble. No chips. Used but ok for display. I'd give it 5/10. |
